I’m very excited – I just received the final version of my cover! Stephanie Mooney (http://mooneydesigns.net/) did a fabulous job, and I’m really pleased with the result. So without further ado…
They say you should have a cover that fits your genre, and if this doesn’t scream ‘THIS IS SCIENCE FICTION’ I don’t know what does.
What do you think, readers? If you came across this cover on Amazon, would you click it?
Very striking! Your book has to do with space, yes?
I’m glad that comes across 🙂 It is indeed – the sub-genre of SF called ‘space opera’ in fact.
Then it’s perfect!
Excellent. Thanks!
I will say, it’s eye-catching and definitely looks like space. I don’t buy books off Amazon (reading off screens gives me headaches, so I’m a paper-bound sort of reader), but if it sat on a shelf, with the spine lettering done in white on the dark spacey background, I’d probably pick it up. I’m not a big sci-fi reader though, so no guarantees, but I’d probably pick it up. 🙂 It looks wonderful!
That’s really great to hear, thanks for the feedback! Eye-catching is the key phrase, so I’m really glad you think so – it’s so important to stand out somehow among the millions of other books readers could buy instead 🙂
I love it. The most important aspect of it, I think, is that I feel compelled to read the jacket description now. It definitely draws not just the eye, but the mind.
Thanks so much! That’s great to hear 😀
