Always Judge My Book By Its Cover

I’m very excited – I just received the final version of my cover! Stephanie Mooney (http://mooneydesigns.net/) did a fabulous job, and I’m really pleased with the result. So without further ado…

They say you should have a cover that fits your genre, and if this doesn’t scream ‘THIS IS SCIENCE FICTION’ I don’t know what does.

What do you think, readers? If you came across this cover on Amazon, would you click it?

  1. I will say, it’s eye-catching and definitely looks like space. I don’t buy books off Amazon (reading off screens gives me headaches, so I’m a paper-bound sort of reader), but if it sat on a shelf, with the spine lettering done in white on the dark spacey background, I’d probably pick it up. I’m not a big sci-fi reader though, so no guarantees, but I’d probably pick it up. 🙂 It looks wonderful!

    1. That’s really great to hear, thanks for the feedback! Eye-catching is the key phrase, so I’m really glad you think so – it’s so important to stand out somehow among the millions of other books readers could buy instead 🙂

I love it. The most important aspect of it, I think, is that I feel compelled to read the jacket description now. It definitely draws not just the eye, but the mind.
